Low level and flow with decent water clarity are the current conditions on pool 4.
A pretty big gap between reports as I was away from the river for almost 3 weeks on a little family get away.
The bite on the river itself has slowed quite a bit. We are still catching a few each trip but really grinding for the ones we are catching. Crankbaits on wing Dams and main river stretches have been the best for my boat.
We are starting to catch some crappies on main lake and main river rip rap. This bite should get better as the cool nights and shorter days start to take over.
A few pics below include Zach and Scott Peterson with some wing dam walleyes.
Beth Nawara with a nice gill
Kyle Antilla shows off a pretty good flathead (23#) caught on a crankbait.
Linda and Bruce Schaffer with enough eyes for a fish fry.
Cheryl Housman and Lynn Goodall with a 1 and 1/2 walleyes.
Karen is last with the fish of the week. (26.5")
