Low (for Spring) flows and levels and good clarity. Water temps about normal for the season (42).

A little tardy on the first report but better late than never. We have been at it since mid March and so far the Spring bite is pretty good and right on schedule. We started with very low flow and very clear water a few weeks back but with the recent rains have had a nice increase in level and flow. Fishing mid-river stretches with Miller Rigs or vertically has given way to Dubuque Rigs and/or pitching jigs to seems and edges.

Numbers of nice fish all the way through with some bigs showing up more regularly in the last week. This is all pretty much right on schedule as far as the spring river run is concerned. We have seen the first signs of the spawn being underway with a couple female fish coming into the boat that had already dumped their eggs. Yesterday was the first I had seen of that this year.

I have admittedly been lazy with the camera but a few nice fish below from the past weeks.
